There are many opportunities to volunteer at The Gathering Church. In fact, we are almost entirely volunteer led. Only our Lead Pastor - Ray Brown and our Family Pastor - Todd Morgan receive compensation for their work at the church. Everything else is completely led by volunteers.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

It starts with clicking that yellow button above. Fill out the volunteer application and one of our connect pastors will get your information to the right leader. Then that team leader will contact you and let you know how you can help.

How do I volunteer with kids?

Kid's Crew and Kid's Church volunteers will need to submit a volunteer application (still the yellow button above) and one of our Family Pastors will contact you. Please note that we do require a background check on volunteers in the children's and student ministries.

How do I volunteer with music?

Those wishing to serve with the worship team will need to click the yellow button above and fill out a volunteer sign-up form. One of our Worship Leaders will contact you about ways that you can serve in our worship ministry.

How do I volunteer with students?

This is same process as volunteering with the kid's ministries. Select DCY (Diverse City Youth) as the area that you wish to serve. A background check is required to serve in this ministry.
